There is a time and place for everything which brings me to my point this morning. Recently, I was praying over something that’s been bothering me. I should note, not much gets under my skin these days but some things do, and in those times, I have two choices; I can take on the battle directly by waging war and confronting (admittedly, something I used to do all too often), OR, I can just give the troublesome thing over to JESUS where HE alone can serve up SWIFT JUSTICE..
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem [O YOU]’ ! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
2 Chronicles 20:17
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:22
“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13
20 ‘Surely our adversaries are cut down, and the fire consumes their remnant.’” 21 “Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.” Job 22:20-21
You can thwart the administration of justice by taking on battles that do not belong to you. Your job is to take care of the things that need tending to, and leave the rest to The ONE, who with the wave of a hand can abolish the ‘thing’ that troubles you.
When in doubt, troubled, or dissatisfied (not content or happy), pray in thanksgiving, and believe that your requests are known; KNOW that they are, because a little doubt can spoil the fruit of your labor.
“6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
HERE’S THE NUGGET: DO NOT FIGHT ANY BATTLE, FOR TO DO SO INHIBITS THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT. PRAY AND STAY OUT OF THE WAY WHEN SEEKING JUSTICE, AND JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED.
Until next time,
Be busy tending to your business/busyness
