“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Jesus was for all but not all came. Never be ashamed of who you are, where you are, or where you are sent, for we live in a society of diverse people with diverse needs and desires. I write songs for everyone, not just for the church as some would judge. I am for everyone but not everyone will receive.

I was once told that my horse, “Thinks too much” and that a thinking horse is a dangerous horse so my goal was to get him to stop thinking. Needless to say, I took over his training and my brilliant thinking horse, though not easy, has far surpassed those around us- ALL praise be to GOD!

By that same theory, the thinking church IS a dangerous church to the religious mindset because a thinking church knows the truth and allows it to set them free from bondage. Lovelies, you cannot and should not separate your humanity from your salvation. All the things that make up you; the little quirks, your sense of humor, your seriousness, your desires, fears, your doubts, everything, is perfectly formed for the unique things that YOU are blessed to do. Remember, it is the word of your testimony (the life you live) and the Blood of the Glorious Lamb that changes lives. Christianity does not separate us from our humanity but what it does do is give us an acute awareness of our sinful nature, conviction when we begin to stray, forgiveness when we fall, and a love for others, knowing that none of us are worthy.

“So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.” Mark 10:18

“My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.” James 3:1

One time, The LORD told us to visit the pastor of a small church and offer our gift of worship for his congregation. To my surprise his reply was, “Thanks, but we have all we need.” The only thing I could say was, “Well, good for you” and I didn’t mean it sarcastically, but I also knew that when the LORD sends us somewhere, HE wants to do a work so I was kind of shaking my head. The LORD later revealed that the reason HE sent us there was to show us the state of the, “SELF-SUFFICIENT” church.

Make no mistake, leaders who lead, are judged mightily for the decisions they make for the flock. If you are a leader, never fall prey to the arrogant deceiver; you DO NOT have all you need, no one does!

” 3 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” 1 Timothy 3:1-7

WHO IS THE WORTHY MAN? If you find him, you let me know! JESUS came for you and you and you and you and you and you and you and you, though none are worthy..Selah!

“and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2
