For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

There is no great mystery or secret path to your destiny and what you are to do.  Look into your hearts and feel free to be free to do as is in your hearts to do.

But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. Deuteronomy 30:14

Sound too simple? It isn’t if you remember that Jesus is the lamp to your feet and the rod and staff to your journey.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

The Word tells us that a man plans his ways, but the Lord directs his step (if allowed).  Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you?

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.  13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”  John 16:12-13

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Life, dreams, hopes, failures, sorrows, misfortunes, regrets, and on and on I could go regarding man and his frailties. But remember lovelies that ALL things work to the good to those who love Jesus and that He loves.   Are you loved?

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Revelation 3:19

“I’m Ok, you’re OK.”  Remember that self-help book? Well those who love and call upon their God do not need to delve into self where no help and no good thing lies. All you need lovelies, is your Redeemer and His saving grace. Hallelujah!

23 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples,  2 saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.  3 Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.  4 For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.  5 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.  6 They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,  7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’  8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.  9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.”  Matthew 23:1-10

Many churches of today inexhaustibly use religious brainwashing to convince the flock that without a man’s interpretation of what is good and acceptable, one cannot successfully navigate one’s own way.

The Word of God IS a lamp unto your feet. It alone reveals how to walk the successful and victorious journey.  The Word of God was made plain for all to understand, requiring no more than one’s own seeking.  No, beloved, there is no great mystery to the Word or of God or its meaning…If there be any mystery, it is in discovering where it has been hidden and by whom.   Ponder this……

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”  Matthew 7:7

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:34-36

HERE’S THE NUGGET: Free thinking is a gift from your Creator.  Communion with Your God and the remission of sin was bought and paid for at the Cross of Calvary.  Jesus is the only way to access the Father and YOU, beloved, are the only one that can allow a breech in the bridge over your troubled waters.

Until next time,

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Psalm 27:13
