Faith is the substance of things hoped for this day.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
January 1, 2013, is just a day on the calendar that reflects time. Let us not forget that God is the beginning and the end of all things. We must not focus on time coming nor time spent; today is all we really have, so let us all make the best use of what is given us, this day.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:34
Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow has its own troubles.
This day, let us become resolute on seeking God with all of our heart and soul, to be the best that we can be, and to treat others as we would want them to treat us. In committing to these virtues, the troubles that seem to plague will be washed away. For in Christ Jesus, He promises that goodness and mercy is for all who call upon His name.
Meditate and receive the following scriptures:
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Psalm 86:5
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. Psalm 145:18
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. Romans 10:12
Happy New Year!
