Today, July 4th 2009, We the people of the United States of America, celebrate 233 years of declared freedom. Much has transpired these many years to disenfranchise our hard fought freedoms, but one standing stalwart that remains true is that freedom is the embodiment of a determined people, and no tyrant (appointed or paid for) will detour our Founding Fathers’ glorious intent.
We find ourselves today in the grasp of a progressive form of government that has grown into a cancerous entity consuming itself to propagate its destructive agenda. Our government was not inaugurated to control its people, but to protect them.
This democratic Republic was not formed as a mirror of the world but was and still is blessed by God Almighty to stand as a beacon of liberty for the world to see. Every citizen of the United Sates of America has the right to choose their own destiny and pursuit of happiness.
Our inaugurated and appointed leaders have surrendered their mandates made to their constituents by allowing and implementing a corrosive and self destructive set of rules and regulations which impede our freedom and implement their dictatorial self-promoting values and rules that are not of our Constitution. This attempt to promote a cosmopolitan, progressive liberal lifestyle is contrary to God’s Laws and our very own Declaration of Independence.
Let us not forget the sacrifices of our valiant freedom fighters who stood up for freedom’s cause 233 years ago. These patriots were people just like you and me that when pushed too far, answered the call.
Are you willing to stand up for freedom? If not, do this nation and those of us who love her a favor and get out!
I leave you with a couple of quotes from Thomas Paine who helped inspire the Revolutionary War with his pamphlet “Common Sense.” As you read these quotes be inspired as a new generation fighting an age old battle.
“We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon the earth for honest men to live in.”
“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.”
29 “When the LORD your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, 30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ 31 You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.” Deut 12:29-31.
Call it as you see it.
