“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Once again the worlds focus is on Israel; a sovereign nation that is defending itself against an aggressive invasion by a régime intent on destroying it. To say that Israel is the perpetrator of aggression against Palestine is ludicrous! Israel has a right and an obligation to defend itself against any aggressor intent on waging war against it.
People have a right to choose whom they will follow or support, and if you choose to follow evil, then no good thing will surround you.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
The Palestinian people who live off the generosity of Israel and the support of the free world are authors of their own destiny and quite able to eradicate Hamas and Hezbollah if they chose to, but they do not. It is sad that war has casualties but blame must be put on those who are the aggressors: Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamic Radicals who do not have any regard for human life, including their own.
It is time for all nations to stand with Israel in defiance against those that would and are attempting to destroy Her. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. Those who choose to follow evil are not fit to live in a civilized society and are enemies of all who stand for righteousness.
“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad” (Matthew 12:30).
Instead of foolishly protesting against a war that is inevitable, pray for God to give strength and guidance to the leaders of the world to choose what is right and honorable and not to be swayed by temptations of the flesh.
1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures (James 4:1-3).
